More Than an Assist Foundation is built on the belief that an assist in basketball does more than set up a score. It creates opportunity, builds trust, and connects people. We carry that same purpose beyond the court by assisting youth in their personal development, education, leadership, and wellness, giving the next generation the tools to thrive on and off the court.
Our Story
More Than an Assist Foundation was created from a lifelong connection to basketball and the values the game instills. Basketball provided opportunities for growth, discipline, and leadership, and demonstrated the true meaning of an assist — supporting someone so they can succeed. Recognizing the impact that guidance and encouragement can have on a young person’s life, this foundation was established to extend that same support to the next generation.
