More Than an Assist Foundation Joins Longueuil's Parcs Éphémères Initiative

This summer, More Than an Assist Foundation is proud to partner with the City of Longueuil as part of its new Parcs Éphémères initiative, a project designed to create safe, active, and welcoming spaces for youth across the community.

The Parcs Éphémères program transforms local parks into vibrant gathering places where young people ages 9 to 17 can connect, stay active, and try new activities free of charge. From basketball and soccer to spikeball, hip-hop, graffiti art, board games, fun challenges, and even campfire evenings, there's something for everyone.

As an organization dedicated to empowering youth through sport, mentorship, and education, we're excited to contribute to a project that aligns so closely with our mission. Throughout the summer, members of our team will be leading basketball activities, helping young athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun in an inclusive environment.

At More Than an Assist Foundation, we believe that sports are about much more than competition. They create opportunities to build friendships, develop leadership, and strengthen communities. Being part of Parcs Éphémères allows us to continue making basketball accessible while encouraging young people to stay active and engaged throughout the summer.

We would like to thank the City of Longueuil and Cité Ados for trusting us to be part of this exciting initiative. We look forward to meeting hundreds of young people in parks across the city and creating memorable experiences together.

If you're between 9 and 17 years old, come join us this summer! Bring your friends, try something new, and experience everything the Parcs Éphémères have to offer.

We can't wait to see you on the court!
