South Shore Showdown 3x3: A Great First Edition!

Our first South Shore Showdown 3x3 tournament was a great success!

The tournament took place at Parc Rosanne-Laflamme and brought together close to nine boys' teams in the Open and U15–U17 divisions. Each team was made up of 4 to 5 players, and everyone came ready to compete.

The day started with a friendly game between Duro Made and the St. Hubert Police Cadets before the tournament officially got underway. Teams played their pool games before moving on to the elimination rounds, where the competition picked up.

There was a great atmosphere all day. A DJ kept the music going, snacks were provided for the players, and we had a BBQ on site for everyone who came out to support. It was great to see families, friends, and members of the community spending the day together around basketball.

The winning teams also went home with Amazon and Foot Locker gift cards as prizes for their performances.

This tournament was about more than just winning games. It was a chance to bring people together, give local athletes another opportunity to compete, and continue growing basketball on the South Shore.
